About Us and Our License

Services are provided by Locksmith 007 Inc ("Locksmith 007", "we", "us"), a corporation licensed as a Locksmith Company by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) under the name "Locksmith 007", License No. LCO8605, valid through March 31, 2028. Our technicians carry their locksmith employee registration and photo ID and will show them on request.

Our Services and Service Area

We provide mobile locksmith services for vehicles, homes and businesses — including lockouts, car key replacement and programming, rekeying, lock installation and repair, and safe services — in the Monterey Bay area — Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties and Gilroy. We do not make keys for Tesla and Lucid vehicles. Availability of a particular service can depend on the vehicle, lock, parts and location; we will tell you before work begins if something can't be done on site.

Prices, Estimates and Your Approval

• Prices on this website are shown as price ranges (from the lowest to the highest price for that service). The final price within the range depends on your vehicle or lock, the parts and hardware needed and the work involved. Lock installation prices are for labor; the lock or hardware is priced separately.
• Call or text (831) 317-6414 for a price for your job — we quote before we head out when we have enough details.
• Free estimate on site — no charge if you decline the work. The technician inspects the job and tells you the price before any work begins. Work starts only after you approve it.
• If we find that additional work or parts are needed, we explain why and ask for your approval before doing it.
• We complete the work you approved for the price you approved.

Service Call Fee for False Calls

A $79 service call fee applies only to a false call — for example, if no one is at the location when the technician arrives. If you decline the work after the free on-site estimate, there is no charge. We will tell you about this fee when you book.

Identification and Proof of Ownership

To protect you and to comply with California law (Business and Professions Code sections 6980.53 and 6980.55), before we open a home or business or make a key for a vehicle we must:

• check a valid photo ID of the person requesting the service;
• record the required details on a work order you sign — such as your name, address, phone number, date of birth, driver's license or ID number, the service address, and for vehicles the registration or vehicle identification number; and
• confirm that you own, rent or are authorized to access the property or vehicle (for example, with registration, title, a lease, a utility bill or a letter from the owner or property manager).

We keep work orders for two years and must make them available to peace officers and the Bureau on request. We may refuse or stop a service if identity or authorization cannot be verified, or if a request appears unlawful or unsafe.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information about the location, vehicle and job, to be present or have an authorized person present, and to give our technician safe access to the work area. Please secure pets and tell us about any known alarm systems, damage or prior repairs before we start.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept: Cash, Credit & debit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, Checks. You will receive a receipt showing our company name and license number and the charges for parts and services. A returned check or reversed payment may be subject to the fees allowed by California law.

Vehicle Keys and Programming

We cut and program keys and remotes with professional equipment. Some vehicles, keys or immobilizer systems may have limits set by the manufacturer — for example, a vehicle may need a dealer for certain modules, or a remote may support fewer functions than the original. If we find such a limit, we will explain it and your options before we continue. Aftermarket and original-equipment parts are available for many vehicles; we'll tell you which one your quote includes.

Entry Methods and Property

We use non-destructive entry methods whenever practical. If a lock must be drilled, replaced or otherwise altered, we will explain why and get your approval first. Old, worn, damaged or previously modified locks, doors and vehicles can fail during service despite proper technique; we will tell you if we see a risk before we begin.

Parts and Warranty

New locks, keys and hardware may carry the manufacturer's warranty. Ask your technician what coverage applies to your job — it will be noted on your receipt. If something we did isn't working right, call or text us at (831) 317-6414 and we will look into it.

Scheduling and Arrival Times

We are open 24/7. Any arrival time we give is an estimate and can change because of traffic, weather, distance or other emergencies; we'll keep you updated by phone or text. If you need to cancel or change a visit, please call or text us as soon as possible.

Text Messages (SMS) Program

• Program: Locksmith 007 customer messages — texts about your request, such as confirmations, quotes, arrival updates and receipts.
• Consent: You agree to receive texts when you text us first or check the text consent box on our website. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your request.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.

• Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under California law, including rights that cannot be waived, or our liability for our own negligence or willful misconduct where the law does not allow it to be limited.
